HOTELS VERONA
It took us 5-10 mins to find this hotel, walking from the central train station. The room we were given was pretty basic, but it had good air-conditioning and we never had a problem sleeping. We also felt safe around the neighborhood and walking towards the touristy part of the city took us about 15 mins. For a short stay in Verona, I wouldn't mind staying in this hotel again.
Buona posizione della camera, consigliata per chi desidera spostarsi senza utilizzare l'auto (albergo situato a circa 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione, a 15 minuti dal centro). Stanze molto confortevoli, moderne. Impeccabile la pulizia.
Estuvimos 2 noches y un dia en verona y fue ideal, porque esta cerca de la estacion y del centro esta a 10 min a pie, asi que la ubicacion es muy buena. en general es muy bueno, la atencion, desayuno, habitacion, todo muy bueno!
To call this hotel a guesthouse does it a disfavour. The rooms are of a higher standard than Premier Inn by UK standards - large, clean and newly decorated and very functional. They even have tea and coffee making facilities and a bottle of water unusual in Italian hotels. Additional blankets, pillows, many towels and a large bathroom with excellent shower and toiletries including a bidet added to the comfort. Our room (06) also had a safe, fridge and plenty of hangers and a well positioned wall mounted TV. There are CCTV cameras on the front door and in corridors that add to the feeling of security. The room cost included breakfast which was a buffet and compared very admirably to the 4 star hotel breakfast we had enjoyed in our previous hotel in Italy during the same trip. There is also a bar and the prices of wine and beer were low and of generous measures. The reception staff were very helpful in providing maps, directions etc. There is also a free shuttle bus to their sister restaurant if your time is tight or you want the convenience. The hotel is 5 minutes easy walk to the train station and about 10 minutes pleasant walk to the old town. A very comfortable Friday/Saturday stay which cost us for 2 nights less than a lesser quality Premier Inn in London, and it included a very good buffet breakfast and all the facilities of a quality hotel. Highly recommended. Oh, and free wi-fi in the room which seems a luxury in any city hotel! Plus - Verona is beautiful and very compact and easily to get around - perfect for a weekend break.
Albergo: camera pulita e molto ordinata. Personale molto cortese, ospitale e simpatico. Situato molto vicino al centro, raggiungibile a piedi in 10 minuti. Mi è piaciuta molto la colazione: tanta, buona e... davvero buona!! :-)
Hotel in ottima posizione, camere pulite e spaziose, personale gentile e colazione ricca. È decisamente un ottimo compromesso per una vacanza a Verona! Molto belle le camere con vista fiume, Consigliato!!
Despite being situated on quite a busy road, this is a quiet and cute hotel, perfect for visiting the city - even for just one night. Plenty of room for a couple of cars, so parking is free. Receptionist(s) very friendly, and English is spoken. The city centre is only a 15/20 minute walk, so the supposed shuttle-bus isn't needed. The rooms could be described as small (the double bed amazing wedged into the room!) but the room had everything we needed, including wardrobe and small fridge.

Фен, телевизор и холодильник работали исправно! Сотрудники все очень приветливы, особенно русскоговорящая девушка Юля) Завтраки хорошие: несколько видов сыра, колбасы, йогурты, мюсли, варёные яйца, много выпечки, фрукты свежие и консервированные, в общем, голодным остаться трудно) Как только вы забронируете номер, из отеля придёт письмо, там будет много подсказок, в том числе и как пройти к отелю от ж/д вокзала, так что внимательно их читайте, тогда реально дойдёте за 5-6 минут! До центра Вероны минут 15 пешком, мы ходили с удовольствием! Карту города дадут при заселении, если вдруг забудут, то вы спросите, и её сразу выдадут, показав маршрут ко всем достопримечательностям. Нам очень понравилась Верона!!! Это просто наше открытие!
Sono stata a Verona per tre giorni e ho prenotato una stanza per due persone in questo hotel molto carino. La posizione è ottima, vicino alla stazione. Il personale è veramente gentile e molto simpatico. Ho trovato la stanza molto pulita e fresca, dato il caldo di luglio.
Hotel Porta Palio offre un'ottima colazione che si distingue per varietà e abbondanza e un'impeccabile pulizia della stanza!
